Music marketing: Loose Loose

Loose Loose is a fusion RnB band from Columbia, Missouri, that combines jazz methods with funk and hip hop grooves, soulful vocal hooks and agile, potent rap lyrics to create an alternate universe for their listeners. Our tagline #KeepItLoose is a nod to their ‘loose’ sound in terms of what they play, as well as how they play it. Together we built a social media campaign to promote their new EP that grew their page by 800 followers, create anticipation amongst their fanbase for upcoming shows and competitions, one of which won them a slot at a Chicago music festival, and provide a long-term content plan to extend fan engagement.

integrated Social campaign: #Ragtagged

Ragtag Cinema is a nonprofit arthouse cinema based in Columbia, Missouri, that is open year-round and screens new-release indie & foreign films. But it doesn’t stop there. The theater is connected to a bakery, late-night bar and an eccentric record store, making Ragtag a space for Columbians to come together and enjoy the taste of community: micro-breweries, steam-baked bread and local art. My team was tasked with creating a social media audit and content plan for the cinema’s social platforms, as well as a campaign to kickstart the revitalization of their pages. Our big idea — #Ragtagged — was an opportunity to replicate the collaborative culture unique to its brick-and-mortar location and bring it to their digital space. The campaign invited local artits living in Columbia to showcase their projects and artistic process on Ragtag’s multiple platforms.
