Trends in entrepreneurship series
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation creates actionable insights for its audiences by providing knowledge and data on key opportunities, challenges and trends relevant to entrepreneurship. Their research has been used by local, state and national policymakers and advocates to create practical tools that reduce barriers to new business creation. During my fellowship, I assisted the launch of Trends in Entrepreneurship — a bi-weekly content series produced by the research department.
My role was to oversee the production, copyediting and marketing for each published brief in the series. The example immediately below highlights Google search trends related to entrepreneurship during the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdown. Underneath the brief is a standard communications package to promote the piece that includes copy for newsletter inserts, social posts, an internal blog for associates, Slack announcements and a landing page.
